Sonia O'Sullivan has been named in the Australian team for next month's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
The 36-year-old Irish athlete has been selected for the 5,000 metres after gaining Australian citizenship two weeks ago.
O'Sullivan still intends to compete in the European Championships later this year for Ireland.
The 107-strong team will be Australia's biggest ever track and field representation at the Games.
O'Sullivan achieved the 5,000m qualifying time when she finished second at the Australia Commonwealth Games trials on Saturday.
Her time of 15 minutes 45 seconds was 0.74 seconds inside the qualifying mark.
O'Sullivan set her personal best of 14:41.02 when winning an Olympic silver medal in Sydney in 2000.
She will compete alongside Sarah Jamieson and Eloise Wellings in the 5000m.
