Mason set to compete for Britain
Jermaine Mason, who won gold for Jamaica in the high jump at the World Indoor Championships, has decided to compete for his native Britain.

As well as his triumph in Budapest in 2004, he also holds Jamaica's high jump record of 2.34m.

A knee injury kept him out of the Athens Olympics and this year's World Championships in Helsinki, Finland.

In September, Jamaican 400m runner Brandon Simpson opted to race for the United States.
