Gilbert Koech led a Kenyan clean-sweep in the men's race at the Las Vegas International Marathon on Sunday.
Koech won the race in two hours, 13 minutes and 44 seconds ahead of fellow countryman Henry Serem (2:14:30), and Elly Rono, who finished in 2:15:43.
Olga Kovpotina of Ukraine won the women's race in a time of 2:31:53, breaking the women's course record of 2:32:22 set in 1997.
An estimated 4,300 runners competed in the event in sunny, windy conditions.
