Grimes handed two-year doping ban
American sprinter Mickey Grimes has been banned for two years after committing a second doping violation.

Grimes accepted the minimum suspension after testing positive for the banned anabolic steroid norandrosterone, the US Anti-Doping Agency said.

Grimes was stripped in 2003 of his 100m gold medal from the Pan American Games after testing positive for the stimulant ephedrine.

The ban will end on 18 July 2006 following a provisional suspension.
