Leading 100m runners Marion Jones and Kim Collins will both line up in the Norwich Union London Grand Prix at Crystal Palace on July 30.
Jones won three times at the London track between 2000 and 2002 before leaving the sport to have a baby.
Collins, the men's world champion over 100m, will be another favourite for Olympic success later in the year.
Jones said: "I'll be looking to gain an advantage by winning close to Athens, it's perfect to fine tune my form."
