American sprinter Kelli White has been stripped of her World Championship medals by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
White claimed the 100m and 200m double in Paris but subsequently tested positive for the stimulant modafinil.
The 27-year-old was suspended from competition for two years in May after admitting taking the steroid.
The IAAF has annulled all of White's performances since 15 December 2000, including her Paris victories.
The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) said last month that White had accepted the minimum ban for her first offence involving the use of prohibited substances.
Those substances included undetectable steroids and the blood-boosting erythropoietin (EPO).
The sprinter has said she plans to compete again when her ban ends in May 2006.
