IAAF president Lamine Diack confirmed the test results
Four athletes who competed at March's World Cross Country Championships tested positive for banned substances according to the International Amateur Athletics Federation.

IAAF president Lamine Diack confirmed that there were failed tests at Lausanne.

"There are four cases of doping but I don't know their nationalities," said Diack.

A Morrocan newspaper reported on Thursday that four Moroccan athletes taking part in the event had tested positive for performance enhancer EPO.

However, Moroccan athletics chief Aziz Daouda dismissed the story as "rumours".
