James McIlroy aims to regain fitness for the outdoor season

Northern Ireland athlete James McIlroy has pulled out of the British team for the World Indoor Athletics Championships.
McIlroy picked up a hamstring injury while training recently in South Africa and he has admitted defeated in his battle for fitness ahead of the event in Birmingham on 14-16 March.
"I just felt it go when I was in the middle of a session," said McIlroy.
"Since then, it's been irritable and I've been told that it's a second degree tear.
"All I can do now is to get rest and physio and get myself ready for the outdoor season".
Last year the Larne runner finished sixth in the Commonwealth Games but he failed to get to the final of the European Championship in Munch.
He later produced his fastest run for four years - clocking 1.45.52 in Italy.
McIlroy was scheduled to join Chris Moss of Belgrave Harriers in the 800 metres in Birmingham.
