Wimbledon best:
4th round (2003)
Recent record:

Myskina has been preoccupied with personal problems in the build-up to Wimbledon and has found it difficult to maintain momentum in 2005.

The Russian climbed through the ranks to claim her first Grand Slam title at the French Open last season and ended the year as world number three.

However, Myskina's progress has stalled in 2005. She was knocked out of the Australian Open in the last 16 by France's Nathalie Dechy.

And she has not got beyond the quarter-final stage of any event since losing to Venus Williams in Antwerp in February.

As defending French Open champion she spectacularly crashed out in the first round to world number 109 Maria Sanchez Lorenzo.

But Myskina has been affected by her mother's ill health and a shoulder injury.

The Russian's best Wimbledon performance came two years ago when she reached the fourth round.

More of the same would go some way to getting her season back on track.
