Tackling Skills - HWC Holland v Wales
The Homeless World Cup is taking place in Edinburgh
The Homeless World Cup kicked off in Edinburgh on 18 July - and you'll be able to catch all the latest action from the tournament right here.

Four graduates from the BBC Tackling Skills project will be reporting on all the games throughout the week-long tournament, which will see 32 countries and over 250 people taking part.

Here is a report from Holland v Wales

Holland 4-4 Wales (Holland win 2-1 on penalties) - by James Clarke

As midday arrived, the sun was at its strongest shining on the two teams' colourful strips as they awaited the referee's signal to start.

As the game picked up tempo Holland were the first to benefit, scoring early.

As the game increased with dramatic pressure, the players suffered from fatigue causing a tit-for-tat end-to-end game.

A swift response from Wales using quick movements and moving into well used space paid off.

The Welsh defence was left stunned as Holland found another perfect opening to find the back of the net.

Wales were obviously good at communicating when, given a free-kick, they responded rapidly, sending it past the keeper.

Holland played the same kind of game, returning a well-worked free-kick into the back of the net.

Holland looked weaker at one point due to Wales taking advantage by simply scoring, but Wales gave it away with a sloppy penalty allowing Holland to smash it home, using the local hot Scottish weather to their advantage.

Then Wales sent the crowd crazy as they took the match to the first penalty shoot-out of the tournament.

There was silence as the teams cleared the path and the first penalty was launched over the bar for Wales' chance to take victory.

Both teams scored, giving Holland a third attempt at winning the game - they delivered, but Wales still glowed with content and showed their appreciation for the crowd's support.
