Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has opted to meet the physical challenge of the Pumas head-on by including Alan Quinlan and Simon Easterby as the two flankers alongside Victor Costello.

Argentina have restored Gonzalo Quesada to stand-off for their crucial pool fixture.

The Pumas have switched Felipe Contepomi, who started the tournament opener against Australia at number 10, to centre in a full-strength team.

There are 14 changes from the side which started Wednesday's 50-3 win over Romania, with only right wing Jose Maria Nunez Piossek retained.
