Mostyn returns to Connacht
Mostyn has been snapped up by new Connacht coach Michael Bradley
New Zealand-born Mostyn has won six Irish international caps

Former Ireland wing Matt Mostyn has returned to Connacht as part of a major influx of players to the Irish province.

New Zealand-born Mostyn, 28, won six caps for Ireland and has rejoined Connacht from Welsh club Newport.

He is joined in new coach Michael Bradley's squad for next season by former Australia Under-21 lock Andrew Farley, who joins from Swansea, former Wasps and England Under-21 lock Mike McCarthy and Munster squad hooker John Fogarty.

Bradley, the former Ireland scrum-half and captain who succeeded Steph Nel last month, has also handed a provincial contract to Clontarf hooker Bernard Jackman.

The hooker finished last season as the All-Ireland League's top try scorer.

Bradley has lost the services of flanker Johnny O'Connor to Wasps as well as full-back Gavin Duffy and scrum-half Eoin Reddan.

But veteran fly-half Eric Elwood is retained for his 15th campaign in a Connacht jersey.

Connacht reached quarter-finals of both the Celtic League and Parker Pen Challenge Cup in the season just finished.
