2050: The reaction of the Argentine players as they come off the field highlights just how tough that game was. I'm off as there is a pie and chips with my name on it in the canteen. Great. Thanks very much for your company, let's do this all again tomorrow.

FULL-TIME: Argentina 33-3 Georgia
Owens blows the final whistle and the Pumas will be glad that this attritional contest is all over. Georgia can be very proud of their display and France and Ireland know they are going to get a real test against these boys.

80 mins: TRY Argentina 33-3 Georgia
The pressure just had to tell at some point. Wing Federico Martin Aramburu makes himself available on the wrap around and touches down. That bonus point could be extremely important. Juan Martin Hernandez kicks the conversion.

78 mins: Argentine tempers start to fray now as Georgia stop another attack. Pumas prop Omar Hasan is one of the main characters involved and he gets a telling off from Owens.

75 mins Lovely work from Hernandez puts Argentina clear again. Georgia are tiring but they are determined to defend their line and replacement Hernan Senillosa is well tackled.

71 mins: TRY Argentina 26-3 Georgia
A direct and powerful break from Leinster's Felipe Contepomi has Georgia in all sorts of trouble. Georgia give away a penalty as they desperately try and defend, Argentina take a tap and lock Patricio Albacete is sent over for the try. The Pumas need one more now for what could be a crucial bonus point. Perhaps sensing that time is running out, Contepomi seems to hurry the conversion and sends it wide.

66 mins: Georgia get lucky with the bounce of the ball after a massive clearance. Irakli Machkhaneli claims possession and Georgia pile forward. The men in red are very unhappy as they feel a man was taken out but Argentina had already claimed the turnover.

64 mins: A quick telly shot of some of Argentina's players highlights just how brutal this game has been. Their faces are a complete mess.

61 mins: Argentina star Juan Martin Hernandez displays a wonderful slight of hand to get his side going again although they do not roll away from a ruck and Georgia clear.

56 mins: TRY Argentina 21-3 Georgia
Argentina pounce after a Georgia mistake in midfield. The ball is spread wide and Lucas Borges has enough pace to just touch down in the corner. The decision is referred to the TMO but it was pretty obvious really and the try is quickly given. Contepomi misses the conversion.

"This match is what I truly love about rugby. Forget the champagne rugby of the All Blacks, the true heroism of the Georgians is something to behold. Go on boys."

54 mins: PENALTY Argentina 16-3 Georgia
Georgia are penalised for not rolling away at a ruck and Contepomi increases Argentina's lead.

52 mins: A wonderful pop pass from Contepomi to full-back Ignacio Corleto launches another Argentina attack. The attack comes to an end when wing Besiki Khamashuridze deals with a kick-through.

47 mins: TRY Argentina 13-3 Georgia
At last, relief all round for Argentina as Borges crosses for the first try of the game after some good work from Felipe Contepomi and flanker Juan Fernandez Lobbe. That could open the floodgates. Contepomi adds the conversion.

46 mins: Georgia get some good ball and Merab Kvirikashvili goes for a drop goal but it narrowly goes wide.

43 mins: Winger Besiki Khamashuridze is released in space and streaks out of the Georgian half. Lucas Borges has to cover and just manages to bring him down. This is not how coach Marcel Loffreda, or the rest of us, imagined the game would pan out.

41 mins: Argentina start the second half and Georgia struggle to clear their lines. The Pumas sense a try but a big hit from Georgia wing Irakli Machkhaneli turns the ball over. Just in case you are worried, Avtandil Kopaliani has come on for open-side flanker Grigol Labadze.

"These so called lesser teams are really up for this World Cup, they have not come here just to make up the numbers."

"France should worry about Georgia on this performance."

40 mins: HALF-TIME Argentina 6-3 Georgia
The half-time whistle goes and the Lyon crowd rise to their feet to celebrate a heroic Georgian effort. It may not have been the most thrilling exhibition of box-office rugby but it sure is compelling and Georgia deserve their half-time break.

40 mins: Argentina put the ball through the hands to threaten the Georgian defence but the defence is immense and wing Federico Martin Aramburu is bundled out of play.

37 mins: Hooker Akvsenti Giorgadze reclaims a quick line-out and although the whistle goes for a forward pass, he charges down the field anyway. Bet he enjoyed that.

35 mins: PENALTY Argentina 6-3 Georgia
Owens screams at the Georgian defence to roll away from the tackle as Argentina attack. They do not take any notice though and Contepomi strokes over the penalty.

30 mins: Georgia are finally out of their own half after Kvirikashvili fires a penalty deep into Argentine territory. The Pumas have to defend their line but they steal the ball and can clear.

27 mins: Argentina are camped on the Georgia line but the red wall is holding firm...for now. An Argentine chip through comes back off the post and tight-head prop David Zirakashvili puts his body on the line to dive on it. The Georgians are tackling as if their lives depend on it and the crowd are totally behind them.

23 mins: The high ball is causing a few problems for Georgia. London Irish number eight Juan Manuel Leguizamon leaps high but just cannot hold onto it.

20 mins: Owens gives a pretty stern lecture to both sides as another line-out goes awry. It is all a bit scrappy at the moment but Georgia will not be complaining, they are holding their own - especially in the contact areas.

15 mins: Hooker Mario Ledesma is Argentina's first player to receive treatment after receiving a warm Georgian welcome. Referee Nigel Owens tells Argentina that play has to continue and scrum-half Nicolas Fernandez Miranda takes the line-out. Bet he has not done that before.

14 mins: Argentina fail to roll away after a tackle on number eight Besso Udesiani and Kvirikashvili tries a monster attempt at goal. He has no problems with the distance but the ball goes well wide.

11 mins: PENALTY Argentina 3-3 Georgia
Argentina are starting to get a bit of ball now and are stringing a few phases together. That's a bit better. Georgia deliberately knock the ball on as it is spread wide and Felipe Contepomi slots over to level up the game.

"How long was the intro to the Argentine national anthem?"
From FowlerNo9 on 606

8 mins: Argentina get a chance to spin it wide but Georgia defend well. Pumas wing Lucas Borges tries to take the ball on but is completely swamped by a red tide and eventually gives away the scrum.

5 mins: The Georgians are really up for this and are very tenacious at the breakdown. Blind-side flanker Giorgi Chkhaidze wins a penalty for his side with some good work on the ground and Georgia can clear in the Argentine half. If they can carry on like this, we are in for a good game.

2 mins: PENALTY Argentina 0-3 Georgia
Fly-half Merab Kvirikashvili gets the game underway for Georgia and Argentina fail to claim the kick-off. The Georgians rumble on through the forwards towards the Pumas line and they win a penalty. Kvirikashvili, winning his 21st cap, claims the simple three points and Georgia take the lead. That's right, take the lead. The Lyon crowd absolutely love it.

1858: Some passionate singing in the anthems. Good stuff, although I do have to mention that some of the vocals were dreadful. I know they are rugby players, but really....

"40 points to the Pumas, and Georgia will score one try only,"
From wrexhamjack123 on 606

1854: The teams run onto the field, sprinting past the strapping souls carrying the two flags. We are ready for the anthems. I'm desperately upset that was unable to get my dinner before the start of the match, leaving my requisite pie, chips and gravy chat until half-time at least.

1845: Evening all and welcome to Argentina v Georgia. A game that is really going to test the accuracy of my spelling.

The Pumas stunned hosts France in a memorable opening game in Paris on Friday night but are very unhappy that they have to take the field just four days later.

"None of the other top eight teams in the world will play two games in such a short time," said coach Marcel Loffreda. Quite.

Georgia's first World Cup was in 2003 and they lost all three games although they did manage a try in the 46-19 defeat to South Africa.

They will bring their own brand of physicality to the game and the Argentina players are bound to be nursing a few bruises after the match.

So how do you think the game will go and where will you be watching it? Let us know via text, using the number above or on 606.
