Demetriou extends Wildcats deal
Wakefield's Australian captain Jason Demetriou has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2007 season.

The 29-year-old centre has not missed a game since joining the Wildcats from Widnes at the start of last season.

Demetriou took over the captaincy when Gareth Ellis left to join Leeds.

Wildcats chief executive Diane Rogerson said: "We are delighted to have retained his services at the club until the end of the 2007 season."
