Relegation-threatened Salford have made Warrington winger Richie Barnett their third signing in 24 hours.
Barnett previously played for coach Shaun McRae at Hull
The Reds signed Castleford full-back or centre Tom Saxton and Wolves second rower Mike Wainwright on Tuesday.
Barnett, 26, who has played 13 times for Warrington this season, worked with new Salford coach Shaun McRae during his spell at Hull in 2004-05.
Reds director of football Steve Simms said: "We have signed three quality players with a wealth of experience."
Salford are three points adrift at the foot of the Super League table with eight matches left, starting with the visit of Bradford on Saturday.
Simms added: "It was felt after the last two performances that we needed to freshen and strengthen our squad in order to retain our Super League status for 2008."
