Huddersfield Giants scrum-half Luke Robinson believes the club have the momentum to do well in the Super League play-offs.

Ahead of this Saturday's eliminator at home to Crusaders (1545 BST), the 26-year-old says his side can reach next month's final.

The scrum-half told BBC Radio Leeds: "We feel we are in a better position despite not being as consistent.

"Last year we seemed to pick up injuries, now key players are back."

Robinson, a losing finalist with Wigan in 2003, added: "After the Challenge Cup final defeat last year morale was low.

It's still an ambition to get back to Old Trafford and come away with a winner's medal

"Now our main players like David Fa'alogo and Brett Hodgson are back at the right time.

"We are not taking Celtic Crusaders lightly and they have turned over some big teams this year, so we are not counting our chickens by any means.

"We've beaten them twice this year already and we know if we do the right things and work hard for each other we will come out on top.

"I've been very fortunate to have played one grand final with Wigan.

"The buzz and the excitement I got walking out was amazing but at the end of the game it was probably one of the most disappointed I've ever been in my life, so it's mixed emotions.

"It's still an ambition to get back to Old Trafford and come away with a winner's medal."
