Super Bowl XXXVIII between the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots kicks off at 2330 GMT on 1 February.
And you can follow the action at the Reliant Stadium in Houston on BBC Radio Five Live and on the BBC Sport website.
Five Live's Jonathan Pearce will be in Texas, broadcasting live with the help of respected pundit Sean Wheelock.
And listeners are invited to make it an interactive experience by calling in, texting and emailing with questions and comments during the programme.
Pearce knows his American football, having commentated on the London Monarchs in the past.
In London, England's World Cup-winning rugby captain Martin Johnson will join Five Live correspondent Phil Williams at a Ministry of Sound's "Superbash", with England rugby star Matt Dawson and England goalkeeper David James also in attendance.
There will be live bands playing throughout the evening and the whole event will be hosted by Richard Blackwood.
"The Super Bowl is an important addition to Five Live's sporting portfolio," said Five Live controller Bob Shennan.
"It is the biggest annual sporting event in the world and Five Live's authoritative team will bring the excitement of this huge occasion to the listeners."
