O'Sullivan crushes Morgan
Defending champion Ronnie O'Sullivan whitewashed Brian Morgan 5-0 to book his place in the quarter-finals of the Citywest Irish Masters in Dublin.

O'Sullivan was not at his best against world number 45 Morgan but still ran out a comfortable winner.

The world number three, whose top break was 66 in frame two, will now play Peter Ebdon in the last eight.

"He is a fantastic player but now he's got to come to my world and do it against me," said O'Sullivan.

Ken Doherty

Ken Doherty wasted little time joining O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals.

The 1997 world champion lost the opening frame against Londoner David Gray but hit back to record a 5-1 win.

"I'm trying so hard to give the crowd something to cheer about," said the home favourite, who has lost just two frames on his way the last eight.

"It's such a big buzz when you walk into the arena and everyone is cheering for you. You can't beat that."
