Peterborough Phantoms have moved to sign defenceman Chris Allen to replace injured overseas player Darius Lelenas. The Canadian, 23, arrives from Telford Tigers and is available for the weekend games against Guildford Flames and Milton Keynes Lightning. Allen was drafted into NHL side Florida Panthers in 1996 and featured twice. Ontario-born Allen was a player-coach while at Telford and has also appeared for Elite League sides Edinburgh Capitals and Coventry Blaze.
