Fallon happy to renew Stoute link
Sir Michael Stoute and Kieren Fallon with Kings Best, the 2000 Guineas winner in 2000
Sir Michael Stoute and Kieren Fallon enjoyed plenty of big-race success
Kieren Fallon says he is looking forward to working with trainer Sir Michael Stoute again during his 18-month drugs ban from racing.

Fallon, 42, confirmed on Wednesday that he would be doing some riding work for Stoute at his Newmarket yard.

"I have always thought that I would like to be with the Sir Michael Stoute team again," said the Irishman.

"Riding is the only thing I know and I want to go back to riding at the end of the suspension."

Fallon has appealed against the ban from the French authorities which is set to keep him out of action until August 2009.

Stoute said earlier that he would be "delighted" if the six-time champion jockey opted for ride work at his yard.

Fallon enjoyed a fruitful partnership when riding as Stoute's stable jockey from 1999 until 2004, teaming up to win the Derby with both Kris Kin (2003) and North Light (2004).

Although Fallon left to join the Aidan O'Brien team in 2005, he continued to ride for Stoute occasionally and the duo claimed the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud with Mountain High last year.

Fallon added: "I want to enjoy riding again and I think I can by being in Sir Michael Stoute's yard.

"I thought riding out at his yard would just get me back into the game and give me the feeling again, because the last three and half years have been a nightmare.

"I have received quite a few offers to train or to look after some horses, but I have been thinking about it in the last week and just didn't think that I was ready for that yet."

"This will be good. I will be around good horses, I know how he works and I really enjoy riding out for him. I just want to go back enjoying it again. If you don't enjoy it, you won't be successful.

"Being at the yard will help me and hopefully I will be able to help him."
