Wiggins powers to Manchester win

Wiggins will now concentrate on road racing
Bradley Wiggins won the 15km scratch race at the Revolution 7 meeting in Manchester on Saturday.

The triple Olympic medallist pushed Russell Downing into second with Mark Cavendish taking third.

Wiggins teamed up with Geraint Thomas to finish second in the Madison 1km time trial behind the Team Persil pair of Cavendish and Ed Clancy.

Wiggins' Olympic team-mate Chris Hoy powered to victory in the Invitation 500m time trial in 31.459 seconds.
