Tim Webster believes he has made his best ever start to a season in his first year with the Stoke Potters.

Webster has been in sparkling form in the National League and won the pairs event at Newport on Sunday.

"This is one of the best seasons I've had since I've been racing for teams," Webster told BBC Radio Stoke.

"[Stoke promoter] Dave Tattum's a good bloke to work with. It's going really well for us at the moment and we'll only improve as a team."

Stoke face the Dudley Heathens in the first leg of their Knockout Cup semi-final at Loomer Road on Sunday, with the away leg at Monmore Green taking place two days later.
