Guernsey racing driver Andy Priaulx had to settle for third place in the Sebring 12-hour endurance race in Florida, United States on Sunday.

Priaulx's BMW M3 number 90, which he shared with Dirk Muller and Joey hand, had looked safe in second place on the final lap.

But Muller spun on the final corner, handing the runners-up spot to their BMW sister car, number 92.

The race was won by Jaime Melo, Gimmi Bruni and Pierre Kaffer in their Ferrari F430 GT.
