2354: It is a bogey for Beem on the final hole, but he wins nonetheless, by a single shot from Tiger Woods.

2350: Rich Beem is ten feet from the hole and needs to get down in two to win the USPGA title. Meanwhile Justin Leonard finishes with an untidy five for a round of 77 which drops him to four under.

2343: Woods finishes with a birdie, his fourth on the trot for a score of nine under par.

2342: Fred Funk finishes with a bogey to drop to four under but receives a great roar from the crowd.

2338: Rich Beem makes his par at the 17th.

2330: Woods follows with a birdie and is at eight under for the first time.

2327: Rich Beem may have secured the PGA title with a 35 foot putt for birdie at the 16th.

2319: Tiger Woods birdies the 16th to get to seven under.

2307: Tiger Woods birdies the 15th to get back to six under.

2300: Justin Leonard birdies the 14th, Beem bogeys it - the lead is back to four shots.

2255: Tiger Woods and Fred Funk bogey the 14th - their bids for the title seem over.

2250: Rich Beem goes to 11 under after another birdie at the 13th hole.

2240: An incredible three putt from Tiger Woods sees him drop a shot and give Rich Beem a four stroke lead.

2228: Rich Beem eagles the 11th to go into a three shot lead.

2217: A birdie from Fred Funk at the 11th gets him back to six under.

2214: Both Rich Beem and Justin Leonard par the 10th to stay at their respective scores.

2159: Another bogey from Justin Leonard, who falls to six under.

2147: Justin Leonard double bogeys the eighth and Rich Beem bogeys the same hole, but becomes the outright leader. Fred Funk birdies the ninth to get back to five under.

2136: Both Rich Beem and Justin Leonard birdie the seventh hole to retain a share of the lead. A bogey drops Fred Funk back to four under.

2124: Justin Leonard bogeys the sixth and he shares the lead with Rich Beem once again. Tiger Woods birdies the seventh and is now at seven under, just a shot off the lead.

2111: Tiger Woods makes another birdie while Justin Leonard goes back to sole owner of the lead after a birdie of the fifth.

2059: Fred Funk drops a shot, Rich Beem makes a birdie to claim a share of the lead with Justin Leonard.

2053: Nick Faldo's miserable day ends with a 78 and a tournament total of 11 over.

2049: Rich Beem and Mark Calcavecchia make birdies to get closer to the lead.

2047: Tiger Woods makes his first birdie of the day to got to five under.

2045: Chris Riley cards a birdie at the fifth to go to four under.

2040: Fred Funk makes a long birdie putt at the third to go to six under, just two shots off the lead.

1715 David Duval's delightful day continues as he birdies the 11th. He is now six under for the round, and two over for the tournament.

1650 Craig Perks chips in from the bunker at the fourth for his second birdie of the day, taking him to four over for the championship.

1645 A delightful shot from the rough on the edge of the ninth ensures an easy par for Duval who reaches the turn in a brilliant 31.

1630 David Duval is back on the birdie trail, his two at the eighth is his fifth birdie in the last six holes and takes him to three over.

1625 A par five at the seventh ends David Duval's run of birdies.

1610 David Duval's brilliant run of birdies continues, as he hits a three at the par-four sixth. Last year's Open champion has hit birdies at the last four holes.

1600 David Duval hits his third birdie in the opening five holes to move to five over for the tournament.

1550 David Duval joins John Huston on six over, after a second early birdie at the fourth.

1545 John Huston's birdie moves him to six over for the tournament.

1540 David Duval and Joel Edwards are both one under for the day, moving to seven over for the tournament.
