Korean teenager Amy Yang carded a six-under-par 66 for a one-shot lead in the Australian Masters on Friday.

Scotland's joint overnight-leader Mhairi McKay is a shot back on 69, ahead of Australian Anne-Marie Knight.

Australia-based Yang, 16, ripped up the front nine in just 32 before holing out with a three-metre pressure-putt on 18.

Japanese star Ai Miyazato received a two-shot penalty on the second hole but still managed to make the halfway cut at the Royal Pines Resort, Queensland.

Yang's performance was outstanding considering it was only her second appearance in a professional tournament.

Miyazato, meanwhile, was stunned after being called by an official who noticed her ball had moved as she was about to play.

"There was a fly buzzing around my head and I brushed it away," Miyazato said.

"When I looked down the ball had moved. I did not think I hit it and my playing partners did not see it."

Miyazato still just made the cut with the adjusted 75.
