Masters quotes
Tiger Woods
Four-time champion Woods is in ominous form at Augusta

"I wish I was better placed and more under par, but I have nine holes left to get a good round and then come out for the afternoon."
Tiger Woods, who has everything, and still wants more.

"As long as he's upright, he's close."
American Rocco Mediate offers his considered opinion on Woods' chances.

"Sure, they've got a little more experience at this than I do. But you've got to start somewhere."
Leader Chad Campbell is adamant he can hold off the slavering superstars of world golf to win the Masters.

"Here, age is a huge factor. I've played a bunch. I feel like I can save a shot or two on the course if everything is going OK and you are into the round."
Veteran American Fred Couples, 46, talks up his chances of adding to the Green Jacket he won in 1992.

"I'll crawl around here if I have too. I've made it this far. I have to do something pretty special to win this golf tournament. The big guns, they can come out and do something normal."
Mediate, tied second, readies himself for possibly the biggest day of his sporting life.

"I wish things had worked out without all the rain. We'll definitely be playing a lot of holes tomorrow. I'll get a good night's sleep and be ready."
Campbell reveals his gung-ho battle plan to defy the might of the golfing world on Sunday.
