Wilford to leave York
York City boss Chris Brass is to release Aron Wilford in a bid to make room for a new striker at the club.

Wilford's contract is to be cancelled by mutual consent after just a handful of appearances for York this season.

The 22-year-old has had loan spells at Harrogate Town and Worksop and could move back to former club Scarborough.

Brass told the York Evening Press: "He's been on loan at Harrogate but I don't know if he'll be going there as a number of other clubs are interested."
