Gorman thinks Tyson will move on
Nathan Tyson
Tyson has scored 13 goals in all competitions so far this season
Wycombe Wanderers boss John Gorman says he is resigned to losing hot-shot Nathan Tyson to a bigger club.

The 23-year-old striker is the leading scoring in the English leagues with 13 goals so far this season.

"Nathan's very ambitious. I think everybody accepts that eventually he will go and that we've done really well to hang on to him," he told BBC Sport.

"He's a great professional and as long as he's here he gives his best. But inevitably we'll probably lose him."

Sheffield Wednesday made three bids for Tyson - named League Two player of the month for August - during the summer but Wycombe held out even when the offer reached 500,000.

"Every player has got ambitions to play at the highest level they can, and so they should have," said Gorman.

"I would want them to have that. There are a few very good players here that could go to a higher level. I'd like them to go with us up through the leagues, but you can't stand in people's way sometimes."
