Bristol City paid £1m for Thorpe earlier in his career
Woking have signed veteran striker Tony Thorpe and ex-Yeovil hitman Wilfried Domoraud on non-contract deals.
Former Fulham and Luton forward Thorpe, 34, was at Tamworth and Barton Rovers last season, while Frenchman Domoraud, 20, played for the Cards in pre-season.
Head coach Kim Grant told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "We need a goalscorer, and we need clinical finishing to get off the foot of the table.
"They are short-term signings but if they produce the goods they will stay."
Meanwhile, the club's director of football, Colin Lippiatt, has left the board after announcing his retirement.
Lippiatt has previously had spells as both manager and assistant at the club.
