West Bromwich Albion have released six players, including veteran striker Bob Taylor and full-back Iffy Udeze.
Taylor has been given a testimonial
Goalkeeper Brian Jensen, defender Des Lyttle, Portuguese midfielder Jordao and young midfielder Matt Collins are also being allowed to leave as the Baggies prepare for life back in Division One.
Taylor has scored 131 goals in two spells with the club, but has featured in only four games this season.
Baggies boss Gary Megson gave Taylor his first start of the year in their final game of the season against Newcastle on Sunday, but he managed only 30 minutes before hobbling off injured.
Taylor is having treatment on a knee problem in the hope of being fit to play some part in his own testimonial match at The Hawthorns on Tuesday.
More than 13,000 tickets have been sold in advance for the match between Albion and a Bryan Robson All-Star XI.
Udeze has made 11 appearances for the Midlands club since arriving from PAOK Salonika on loan.
Former Norwich and Leicester midfielder Lee Marshall has also been transfer-listed.
