Corica leaves Walsall
Australian midfielder Steve Corica has left Walsall by mutual consent.

The well-travelled Corica, 31, started 70 games for the Saddlers after joining from Japanese club Sanfrecca Hiroshima in February 2002.

But the former Leicester and Wolves midfielder has failed to force his way into Saddlers' manager Paul Merson's reckoning this season.

Meanwhile, ex-Aston Villa full-back Jonathan Bewers is due to play for Walsall's reserves on Wednesday night.
