Loran hit by injury
Tyrone Loran
Loran missed the start of the season with a knee problem
Tranmere defender Tyrone Loran looks set to undergo knee surgery.

The Dutchman limped off after just five minutes of Tranmere's 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who missed the start of the season with a knee ligament problem, is to have a scan to determine the full extent of the injury.

A statement on the club's website said: "He looks likely to need an operation to correct the problem."

Loran joined Tranmere from Manchester City in May after a loan spell at Prenton Park last season.
