Tranmere sign Loran
Tranmere Rovers have completed the permanent signing of Tyrone Loran from Manchester City.

Tranmere have paid an undisclosed fee for the 22-year-old who initially joined the club on loan from Maine Road in December 2002.

Loran can play in midfield or defence and started 16 games for Ray Mathias's side as they just missed out on a place in the play-offs during the past campaign.

"His presence in the team was an outstanding feature during our unbeaten run last season," Mathias told the club's website.

"His ambitions are to be successful in English football, which match those of the club as we look forward to the start of next season."

Loran, a Holland under-21 international, moved from Dutch club Volendam to Manchester City last summer but failed to break into the first-team.
