Preston striker joins Tamworth
Tamworth have signed teenage Preston striker Kelvin Langmead on a month's loan and also snapped up former Doncaster winger Andy Watson.

Langmead has made it far as the reserve-team at Deepdale and Preston boss Craig Brown believes he will benefit from Nationwide Conference football.

"A game at Tamworth is ideal for him," said Brown.

"He is a good goalscorer, he is strong in the air and he is quite pacey," the Preston manager told his club's website.

Lambs boss Darron Gee made his move for Langmead after losing on-loan Doncaster striker Tristram Whitman with an ankle injury, which could keep him sidelined for a number of weeks.

Meanwhile, Watson returns to the Conference after leaving Doncaster Rovers at the end last season.

The 24-year-old, who failed to agree a new deal at Belle Vue, is also reportedly wanted by Luton Town but can not join the Hatters while they remain in administration.

Tamworth have allowed former Birmingham, Colchester, Mansfield and Torquay striker Mark Sale to join Hucknall on a month's loan.
