Branston heading to Owls
Sheffield Wednesday have signed Rotherham defender Guy Branston.

The 25-year-old has not had his contract renewed by Rotherham and having passed a medical will move to Hillsborough on 1 July.

Branston played over 100 league games for the Millers, helping them to promotion to Division One in 2000-2001.

He had loan spells at Peterborough and Wycombe last season and previously played under Owls boss Chris Turner in the youth system at Leicester City.

Meanwhile, Wednesday have increased their bid for Luton striker Steve Howard to 500,000 after an offer of 300,000 was rebuffed.
