Owls eye strike duo
Sheffield Wednesday have made offers for Luton striker Steve Howard and Stockport's Luke Beckett.

The Owls have had a 200,000 bid for Howard turned down, but manager Chris Turner told BBC Radio Sheffield they are prepared to increase the offer.

And Turner hopes Stockport will accept a 100,000 offer for Beckett.

Turner is interested in Norwich's Iwan Roberts and Blackpool striker Scott Taylor. He is also close to signing Rotherham's Guy Branston.
