Gary Mills has left Rushden & Diamonds by mutual consent
Rushden & Diamonds have released midfielder Gary Mills.

The 24-year-old has left the League Two strugglers, who are in the relegation zone, by mutual consent.

Mills was the club's longest serving player, graduating from the youth ranks to sign his first professional deal in August 1999.

He has since made almost 150 appearances for Rushden, but started only seven games for Barry Hunter's side this season.
