Rochdale snap up Smith
Rochdale have made winger Jeff Smith their third loan signing from Bolton.

Smith has agreed a one-month stay at Spotland after recovering from a thigh injury which curtailed his recent loan stay at Scunthorpe.

The 23-year-old left-sided player, who has made just a handful of appearances for Bolton, also has previous loan experience with Macclesfield.

Smith follows Danny Livesey and N'Diwa Lord-Kangana from the Reebok Stadium to the Third Division side.

Meanwhile, Dale midfielder Gary Jones has agreed a deal until June, 2005 following his return to the club from Barnsley.
