LuaLua escapes surgery
Lomana LuaLua
Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has been boosted by the news that striker Lomana LuaLua will not require an operation to repair his groin injury.

The verdict was delivered after the Congo international saw a specialist about the problem

Redknapp said: We're happy to be told he doesn't need an operation. He just needs some rest and we hope that it does the trick.

"But it is a good thing we have enough strikers to cover now."
