Widdrington joins Port Vale again
Experienced midfielder Tommy Widdrington will play without pay after rejoining former club Port Vale.

The 33-year-old has signed for Vale on non-contract terms following his recent release by Macclesfield Town.

┐Tommy is experienced and that is what I need at the moment,┐ Vale boss Martin Foyle told his club's website.

Widdrington, who coaches at Vale's centre of excellence, played almost 100 games for the club between spells with Grimsby and Hartlepool.
