Cameroon under-21 cap for Partick
Ramould Andela
Ramould Andela impressed on trial with Glentoran
Former Cameroon Under-21 international Romuald Andela Midoukna has agreed a one-month deal with Partick Thistle.

The 26-year-old formerly with CSKA Sofia will be given the chance to win a longer-term deal with the Scottish First Division club.

Partick were trying to rush through international clearance to allow the attacking midfielder to join their squad for the trip to Kirkcaldy to face Raith Rovers on Saturday.

Andela won 16 under-21 caps and captained his country at that level.

He played his domestic football with Canon Sportif in Yaounde before moving to Morocco with Oujda, from where he was transferred to famous Bulgarian outfit CSKA Sofia.

Followed his girlfriend

Andela moved on to Romanian club Petrolul, winning a Romanian cup winner's medal.

He returned to Bulgaria with Levski Kjutsendil.

But he followed his girlfriend to Belfast, where he has been working in the Post Office.

He impressed as a trialist playing for Glentoran in a pre-season friendly against Thistle and was invited to Scotland by manager John Lambie.

His trial spell at Glentoran had ended when their manager, Roy Coyle, terminated his short-term contract after Andela had been involved in an incident during their friendly match with St Patrick's.
