Magpies look at Ayres
Lee Ayres
Ayres gained League experience in a spell at Kidderminster
Tamworth defender Lee Ayres has joined League Two side Notts County on trial, with a view to a permanent move to Meadow Lane if he impresses.

The 22-year-old ex-Kidderminster man made his Magpies debut as a second-half substitute in Saturday's 4-2 friendly win at Bideford Town.

Gavin Gordon, Stefan Oakes and Glynn Hurst (2) were on target for County.

Meanwhile, boss Gary Mills has tied young County defender Kelvin Wilson to a two-year professional contract.
