Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood says his side can ride the storm despite being bottom of the Championship table.

Forest have won just two league games in 19 and speculation is mounting over Calderwood's future.

Some away fans jeered as Doncaster dominated the goalless draw at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday.

Calderwood told BBC Radio Nottingham. "Everyone's got an opinion but my opinion is we'll still survive."

He added: "I've got nothing to hide from.

"The response was there from seven-eighths of the Forest fans who over-shouted them which is pleasing to hear.

"[Jeering] is not helpful to the team and that's the thing they've got to think about."

However, the Scot who has been at the helm at the City Ground since 2006, admits his side need to start winning matches.

"In the position we're in we've got to win home games which will make these away points precious.

"Barnsley at home is a game we've got to take three points from," he said.
