Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest have signed midfielder Adam Nowland from West Ham for £250,000.
Nowland made just six appearances for West Ham this term
Nowland signed a two-and-a-half year contract at the City Ground and manager Joe Kinnear is delighted to have captured the 23-year-old.
"Adam is someone we have had our eye on for several weeks. We tried to get him a couple of weeks ago but were knocked back by West Ham," said Kinnear.
"But we've kept at it and I'm delighted to have finally brought him on board."
Nowland joined the Hammers from Wimbledon in February but has spent time on loan with Gillingham recently.
