Motherwell have signed up former Dunfermline Athletic and Raith Rovers midfielder Jason Dair on a one-year deal.
Jason Dair has been at Dunfermline since 1999
Dair negotiated a release from his East End Park contract last week and is pleased to link up with 'Well boss Terry Butcher again.
"I'm delighted to get myself fixed up at Motherwell," Dair told the Scottish Sun.
"I know Terry Butcher because he was a coach at Raith when I was there and he was brilliant to work with."
Dair, 29, was a regular with Dunfermline last season and scored two goals from 38 appearances.
Meanwhile, defender Andre Karnebeek, who was released by Dunfermline along with Dair, has joined Dutch outfit De Graafschap.
The 32-year-old had joined Dunfermline in 2000 from Twente Enschede and will hope to help his new club win promotion back to the top tier after their demotion to the Second Division last season.
