Fletcher has been at United since 2000, making his debut in 2003
Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has signed a new four-year contract with the club.
Scotland international Fletcher, 27, graduated through the youth academy at Old Trafford and has gone on to make 288 appearances, scoring 21 goals.
Sir Alex Ferguson told the club website: "I am extremely proud that he came through the youth academy.
"I am delighted Darren has signed a new contract, he has developed into a top-class midfielder."
Since making his debut in 2003 Fletcher has won three Premier League titles, the FA Cup, two League Cups, the Champions League and the Fifa Club World Cup.
The Scot has been an important figure for United this season, starting 33 appearances and scoring three goals.
Fletcher said: "I take great pride in playing for Manchester United, I have won many trophies in my years playing here and I am looking forward to winning many more in the seasons to come. I would like to thank everyone at the club."
Fletcher follows Michael Carrick in committing his future to the club after the England midfielder signed a three-year deal on Thursday.
United have been tying their star names to new deals in recent months, with France left-back Patrice Evra signing a deal until 2014 and Ryan Giggs extending his career at Old Trafford by another year.
