Macclesfield boss signs Navarro
Alan Navarro
Navarro had a loan spell at Macclesfield last season
Macclesfield have signed their former loan player Alan Navarro following his exit from Accrington Stanley.

Navarro, 24, played 11 games for the Silkmen during a loan spell from Tranmere Rovers last season.

Macclesfield boss Brian Horton told the club website: "I'm delighted Alan has joined the team. I think he's going to fit in extremely well.

Navarro, who had been playing on non-contract terms at Stanley, was released by Tranmere in the summer.

Horton added: "We had him here last season and couldn't quite come to an agreement with Tranmere to sign him, so he went back there and we missed him badly.

"It was no coincidence that his departure came at the time when our form dipped so we've been keeping an eye on him for a long time and we're delighted to have him."
