Hatters hit by fresh Hatch blow

Liam Hatch
Hatch has been shown three yellows and one red in his four games

Luton striker Liam Hatch faces another spell out with an ankle injury.

The 27-year-old missed the start of the season and, after only four games back, sat out the win at Kidderminster and will be out for some time.

Coach Kevin Watson told BBC Three Counties: "I think Liam has got a dodgy ankle and he needs to get it sorted out once and for all really.

"He can't keep coming in and out. That's going to be no good for him and no good for the side."

The problem initially surfaced during the club's pre-season programme and the forward, on loan from Peterborough, did not make his debut until mid-September against Barrow.

Watson said: "I think Liam's got to nail down what the problem is and get it sorted out, once and for all, before he comes back again."
