Livingston have signed 20-year-old midfielder Jamie Hand on loan from Watford until the end of the season.

And they have told midfielder Steven Boyack and striker Marc Libbra that they can find new clubs.

Hand has failed to make an appearance for Watford this term, despite performing well with League Two side Oxford United earlier in the campaign.

Watford manager Ray Lewington told his club's website: "We have the facility to get him back if we need him."

Lewington can recall Hand at 24 hours' notice.

"He is one of those boys who is not going to be happy playing in the reserves," he said.

"I was happy for him to go out and get some more first-team experience."

Livingston manager Richard Gough told his club's website: "We are delighted to secure the services of Jamie Hand until the end of the season.

"He is an exciting young player who is keen to gain more experience and will add strength to our midfield."

Injury-jinxed 28-year-old Boyack has made only five starts since joining Livi in June after leaving Hearts.

The 32-year-old Libbra, who moved to Almondvale from Ajaccio, has failed to match the success of his previous spell in Scottish football with Hibernian, making just two starts.
