Craig Fagan has rejoined Hull City in a 750,000 move from Derby County.

Fagan, who spent the end of last season on loan at Hull, helping to fire them to the Premier League, has signed a three-year deal at the KC Stadium.

The 25-year-old initially left Hull for Derby for the same 750,000 fee in January 2007, but only scored twice in 46 matches.

Fagan played 11 times for the Tigers last season, including the play-off final victory over Bristol City.

"Craig leaves with our best wishes and thanks for the hard work he put in at Derby," manager Paul Jewell told the club's website.

"I don't think it's any secret that Craig wanted to make his deal permanent and I believe it's a deal that benefits all parties involved - both clubs and the player."
